Japan, China PR play to a stalemate

Suwon: Japan and China PR settled for a goalless draw in their concluding 2025 (EAFF) E-1 Football Women’s Championship tie on Wednesday.

The stalemate meant Korea Republic lifted the title following their 2-0 win after defeating Chinese Taipei with China PR finishing second and Japan third.

All three sides finished on five points with Korea Republic securing the title based on the ratio of goals scored in meetings between the three teams.
