Gosford: Bruno Fornaroli has admitted that Perth Glory have their eyes on winning the A-League Grand Final as the Western Australia club get set to resume their campaign against Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.
Having left Melbourne City prior to the end of the 2018-19 campaign, the Uruguayan striker joined Perth last March, although he was ineligible to appear for his new side until the current campaign and thus played no part in their Premiership success and subsequent Grand Final defeat to Sydney FC.
Back on the pitch and scoring goals, Fornaroli was in fine form prior to the league's COVID-19 related postponement and leads the Perth scoring charts. With domestic and, later, Continental action now set to return, the 32-year-old spoke exclusively to the-AFC.com about his hopes for the remainder of the season as The Glory chase a place in the A-League Finals Series and the AFC Champions League knockout rounds.
