Kobe: FIFA World Cup winning midfielder Andres Iniesta has extended his contract with J.League side Vissel Kobe for another two years, keeping the Spanish legend at the club until 2023.
The 37-year-old, who scored the winning goal when Spain defeated the Netherlands in the FIFA World Cup final in 2010, joined Vissel in 2018 after a stellar club career with Barcelona, which saw him win four UEFA Champions League titles and nine La Liga crowns.

The latest decision brings to a close the venue selection process for the 2021 AFC Champions League Group Stage following the confirmation of the Football Association of Thailand as the centralised host Member Association for Groups F, G and J, which will take place from June 22 to July 11, 2021.

Johor Bahru: Singapore international midfielder Hariss Harun has parted company with 2021 AFC Champions League participants Johor Darul Ta’zim by mutual consent, the Malaysian Super League champions announced on Monday.
Club captain Hariss has played for the Southern Tigers since joining in 2014 from Singaporean side LionsXII and won six league titles and the 2015 AFC Cup during his time in Malaysia.
Lion City Sailors subsequently announced that Hariss has signed a 31/2 contract with the Singapore Premier League side.

Beijing: China PR national team head coach Li Tie has named a 26-man squad for his side’s final training camp ahead of the resumption of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The China squad will enter into their camp in Suzhou on May 14 and Li has called Espanyol winger Wu Lei after the 29-year-old missed the last camp due to commitments with his Spanish club.
