Tashkent: Uzbekistan continued their resurgence under head coach Vadim Abramov, registering a 3-1 friendly win over Kyrgyz Republic at Pakhtakor Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides used the match to prepare for key Asian Qualifiers in the week ahead, with Uzbekistan to host Saudi Arabia on Thursday, while Kyrgyz Republic are set to face Japan in Bishkek.
Pakhtakor duo Igor Sergeev and Dostonbek Khamdanov made the most of their familiar surrounds to find the back of the net before Jamshid Iskanderov slotted an excellent third for Uzbekistan, with Farkhat Musabkeov getting his name on the scoresheet for the visitors, who remain winless in eight attempts against their neighbours.

Beirut: Defender Joan Oumari and midfielder Bassel Jradi have been recalled to the Lebanon national team for their forthcoming Asian Qualifiers Group H tie for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The return of Oumari will be a big boost for the defensive line of Liviu Ciobotariu's side as he boasts a lot of experience from playing in Germany, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and recently Japan.

Kuwait City: Head coach Thamer Enad has called up five new players to the Kuwait squad for their upcoming Asian Qualifiers Group B challenges for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
Talal Al Fadhel, Sami Al Sanea, Sultan Salboukh, Ahmad Zanki and Shabaib Al Khaldi were all included in a 27-player squad that was named by Enad for the matches against Chinese Taipei and Nepal.

Sydney: Head coach Graham Arnold has announced the 24 players that have been selected to represent Australia for the team’s fourth Asian Qualifiers match for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
Australia will play Jordan in Amman next Thursday, and Arnold has selected a slightly extended squad for the fixture as Hertha Berlin ace Mathew Leckie awaits the birth of his second child.
Australia’s squad to play Jordan at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman next week features the return to national team action for Scotland-based attacking duo Tom Rogic and Martin Boyle, Western United defender Josh Risdon, experienced defender Trent Sainsbury, 16-cap goalkeeper Adam Federici, as well as emerging Barnsley FC midfielder Kenny Dougall.

Amman: Forward Hamza Al Dardour has been recalled as head coach Vital Borkelmans announced a 26-player Jordan squad in preparation for their next two Asian Qualifiers matches for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The 28-year-old forward was in the Jordan squad for their opening tie against Chinese Taipei in September but was dropped for the matches against Kuwait and Nepal last month.
Al Dardour, who scored four goals in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup Finals, will be hoping to see some action as Jordan host Australia on November 14 and then Chinese Taipei five days later at Amman International Stadium.
