Machino makes Monchengladbach switch

Kuala Lumpur: Japan international striker Shuto Machino has signed a four-year contract with Borussia Monchengladbach after joining from Holstein Kiel, the Bundesliga outfit announced on Saturday.

The 25-year-old links up with compatriots Ko Itakura and Shio Fukuda at Monchengladbach having scored 11 times last season for Kiel in his second campaign with the team. He moved to Germany from J1 League outfit Shonan Bellmare in the summer of 2023.

Australia's Jordan Bos joins Feyenoord

Kuala Lumpur: Australia international defender Jordan Bos has joined Dutch side Feyenoord from Westerlo in Belgium, signing a four-year contract with the Eredivisie side.

The 22-year-old, who has played 19 times for the Socceroos since making his debut against Ecuador in March 2023, was unveiled by his new club in Rotterdam on Friday.

Dubai: Former Italy captain Andrea Pirlo has been appointed as United FC coach, the Emirati second-tier club announced on Friday.

The ex-AC Milan and Juventus midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the club, also known as Dubai United, who play in the UAE First Division League, one tier below the country's Pro League.
