Al Qadsiah get Fernandez boost, Olwan bolsters Selangor

Khobar: Saudi Pro League outfit Al Qadsiah continued to strengthen after revealing Argentine Ezequiel Fernandez as their latest signing on Monday.

Fernandez, who played a starring role in Argentina’s run to the quarter-finals of the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024, is a defensive midfielder who was previously with Boca Juniors.

The 22-year-old will team up with the likes of Nacho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Al Qadsiah look to have a strong season after returning to the top flight.

Lyon: Jean-Philippe Mateta scored twice as hosts France came from behind to beat Egypt 3-1 after extra time on Monday and set up a Men’s Football Olympic Tournament Paris 2024 final showdown with Spain.
