Troussier determined to replicate Japan success with Vietnam

Hanoi: Philippe Troussier famously led Japan to the last 16 at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and in January will go head-to-head with his former employers at the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ after Vietnam were drawn against the Samurai Blue. 

With just six months to go before the continental showpiece kicks off, the Frenchman tells the-AFC.com about his enduring love for Japan and the parallels between his old job and his current role.
