#ACFutsal contenders set for Final Draw

Kuala Lumpur: The Group Stage battles for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 will be decided on November 5 (Wednesday) in Jakarta during the Final Draw, which begins at 3pm (GMT+8).

To be held at the MNC Conference Hall, the ceremony will determine the four groups for the 18th edition of the Finals, which features 16 teams and takes place from January 27 to February 7, 2026.

Kuala Lumpur: The stage is set for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 following the conclusion of Group D of the Qualifiers on Wednesday.

Iraq emerged as the top team in Group D following a 2-1 defeat of Saudi Arabia, completing their campaign with a perfect record of three victories.

There was joy for Saudi Arabia as they advanced as one of the best seven runners-up.

Anak: Iraq clinched top spot in Group D of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 Qualifiers after sealing a last-gasp 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

The win ensured Iraq finished with a perfect score of nine points, three ahead of Saudi Arabia, who also advanced as one of the best seven second-placed sides.

Kuala Lumpur: Seven teams confirmed their tickets to the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 after topping their respective groups on Wednesday.

Australia emerged the Group A winners with Thailand (Group B), four-time champions Japan (Group C), Vietnam (Group E), Kyrgyz Republic (Group F), titleholders and 13-time champions Islamic Republic of Iran (Group G) and Afghanistan (Group H) joining them at Indonesia 2026.

Group D of the Qualifiers will be contested between October 18 and 22 with Iraq, hosts Saudi Arabia, Chinese Taipei and Pakistan the teams involved.

A further seven spots are available to the best runners-up across the eight groups with Kuwait (Group A), Korea Republic (Group B), Tajikistan (Group C), Lebanon (Group E), Uzbekistan (Group F), Malaysia (Group G) and Myanmar (Group H) finishing second in their respective groups.

Ardiya: Australia fought back to hold Kuwait to a 2-2 stalemate in their final AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 Qualifiers Group A match on Wednesday.

The draw saw Australia topping Group A ahead of Kuwait on goal difference to qualify for the Finals.

In the earlier game, India overcame Mongolia to end their campaign on a high.

Dushanbe: Japan came from behind to defeat Tajikistan 3-1 in their Qualifiers Group C tie on Wednesday to secure their spot at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026.

Japan completed their campaign with three wins while Tajikistan could still advance as one of the best seven runners-up.

Cambodia, meanwhile, cruised to a 11-2 win against Macau to wrap up their Qualifiers journey in style.
