Pathum Thani: Yutaka Michiwaki has his eyes set on becoming the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Thailand 2023 top scorer after striking once in Japan’s 3-1 win over Australia in the quarter-finals on Monday.

Gaku Nawata and Michiwaki gave Japan a two-goal cushion going into the break before Nestory Irankunda pulled one back for Australia but substitute Rento Takaoka put the game beyond reach with a sublime goal with less than 15 minutes to play.
