Diriyah: The ultimate stage has been set for Asia’s top 24 men’s national teams following the glittering AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Final Draw that took place on Saturday evening.

Amid the stunning backdrop of the Salwa Palace in Diriyah’s historic At-Turaif District, the six groups for next year’s showpiece were revealed and the official match schedule has now been confirmed. To get underway on January 7, the 19th edition of Asia’s crown jewel will run until February 5, 2027, with kick-off times to be finalised and updated on the-AFC.com in due course.

Jeddah: Saudi Arabia advanced to the quarter-finals of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ with a 2-0 win over Thailand in their Group A fixture at the King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium on Saturday.

The two-time winners, who secured the victory thanks to an early goal from Marwan Al Yami and another in stoppage time by Hassan Al Okrush, also confirmed their ticket to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026 with the victory.

Jeddah: Japan strengthened their bid for a place in the quarter-finals of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ on Saturday as Maki Kitahara stepped off the bench to secure his side a 2-1 win over China PR.

The win was Japan’s second in a row in Group B with Anthony Motosuna giving them a 37th minute lead only for Zhao Songyuan to level the scores three minutes into the second half, but Kitahara struck on the hour mark to maintain his side’s perfect start to the competition.
