Sydney: DPR Korea confirmed their quarter-final spot after a convincing 5-0 win against Bangladesh in their AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ Group B tie on Friday.

The victory meant that Ri Song Ho’s side - on six points - booked their knockout place spot after China PR defeated Uzbekistan 3-0 in the day's later match, with the two pacesetters to square off on Monday to decide the group winners.

Sydney: Defending champions China PR booked their AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ quarter-final spot in style with a 3-0 defeat of Uzbekistan in their Group B match on Friday.

A much-changed China PR still proved too strong for Uzbekistan with the result also confirming DPR Korea’s progress to the knockout stage, with the two East Asian sides to meet on Monday to decide the group winners.
