Happy to be back, says China PR’s Li

Sydney: Li Qingtong expressed her delight after marking a memorable return to the China PR national team with a brace that powered the defending champions to a 3-0 win over Uzbekistan in their group stage encounter in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026 on Friday.

The win also saw the nine-time champions through to the quarter-finals and the forward is revelling in the opportunity to contribute after her recent return to the national team setup.
