India targeting September training camp ahead of Qatar tie

New Delhi: India are hoping to kick off their preparations for the resumption of the Asian Qualifiers with a training camp in September.

All India Football Federation General Secretary Kushal Das said the camp, depending on the approval of relevant authorities, will be in Bhubaneswar.

India are scheduled to play Qatar in their next FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Asian Qualifiers Group E in Bhubaneswar on October 8.

Updated Match Schedule for India 2021 released

New Delhi: The updated match schedule for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2021, which is scheduled to take place from February 17 to March 7 next year, has been released.

Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata and Navi Mumbai have already been confirmed as the five host cities for the tournament and will host the 32 matches involving sixteen teams.

Qatar to host 2020 AFC Champions League in the West region

Kuala Lumpur: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has been confirmed as the host Member Association for the 2020 AFC Champions League matches in the West region from the Group Stage to the Semi-finals, which will take place from September 14 to October 3, 2020. 

The AFC had earlier reiterated its commitment to complete the 2020 AFC Club Competitions in a centralised venue with all matches in the Group Stage for both the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup to be played in full and the knock-out stages consisting of single match ties.

The deadline for bids to host the centralised AFC Champions League West region matches was on July 13, 2020.
