Tashkent: Afghanistan produced a sparkling display to defeat Angola 6-4 in their FIFA Futsal World Cup Uzbekistan 2024 Group C opener at the Humo Arena on Sunday.

Tournament debutants Afghanistan stamped their authority in the first half, taking a three-goal cushion into the break and will look forward to playing former champions Argentina on Wednesday.

Tashkent: Uzbekistan came from behind an amazing three times to hold the Netherlands to a 3-3 draw in their FIFA Futsal World Cup Uzbekistan 2024 Group A opener at the Humo Arena on Saturday.

While an opening win eluded the hosts, the remarkable fightback will serve as a morale booster for their tie against Paraguay on Tuesday, with the Netherlands to face Costa Rica.

Paraguay defeated Costa Rica 5-2 earlier on Saturday.
