Sale: DPR Korea produced a dramatic second half fightback to edge Cameroon 2-1 in their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 Group B tie on Tuesday.

Kim Won Sim scored both goals after Fraiche Lys Tiwa had put Cameroon ahead, with the win taking the defending champions to six points and on the verge of qualifying for the knockout stage.

Group C: USA 5-2 China PR

Sale: China PR were overwhelmed 5-2 by the USA in their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 Group C tie on Tuesday.

The Americans rallied from going behind to cruise to an emphatic win which took them to the top of Group C while China PR remained on three points.

Shanghai: FC Machida Zelvia outplayed hosts Shanghai Port FC 2-0 to claim their first AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 win at the Pudong Football Stadium on Tuesday. 

An own goal by Fu Han and Yuki Soma’s strike handed the dominant Japanese side victory and gave head coach Go Kuroda maximum points following two consecutive draws. Defeat left reigning Chinese Super League champions Shanghai Port on a single point.

Chengdu: Malaysia Super League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim secured their first win in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Tuesday as Xisco Munoz’s side cruised to a 2-0 victory over hosts Chengdu Rongcheng.

Oscar Arribas’ fifth minute strike put his side ahead against the Chinese Super League side and Nacho Mendez doubled the lead 17 minutes after the interval to earn JDT a deserved victory at Phoenix Hill Sports Park Football Stadium.

The result moves JDT onto four points while Chengdu, who won their previous game against Gangwon FC from Korea Republic, remain on three points after the first three rounds in the league phase.

Ulsan: Korea Republic’s Ulsan HD FC withstood a battling second-half performance from Sanfrecce Hiroshima of Japan to carve out a 1-0 win in an engrossing AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 tie at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium on Tuesday. 

Kim Min-hyeok struck early in the first half for the two-time Asian champions to give interim head coach Roh Sang-rae a winning start to his tenure and move them to seven points. Defeat left Sanfrecce on four points.

Melbourne: Max Caputo struck deep into stoppage time to earn Melbourne City a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Buriram United at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Tuesday as the A-League side picked up their first victory in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26.

Goran Causic had given the Thai League 1 champions a 72nd minute lead but new City signing Elbasan Rashani cancelled that out in the 84th minute before Caputo pounced to net the 97th minute winner for Aurelio Vidmar’s side.

Caputo’s goal moves his team onto three points from three matches in the eastern league phase and level with Buriram United, who have now lost two matches in a row and their first under new coach Mark Jackson.
