Group G: Jordan 7-0 Pakistan

Amman: Riding on a hat-trick from Mousa Al Ta’mari, a dominant Jordan beat Pakistan 7-0 in a Group G match of Round 2 for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ at the Amman International Stadium in Amman on Tuesday.

Besides Tam’mari, Abu Zraiq scored a brace while Yaizan Al Naimat, Saeed Al Rosan and Ali Olwan scored one apiece.
 
The victory brightened Jordan’s chances of making it to Round 3 as they moved to second with seven with seven points, three behind Saudi Arabia and two ahead of Tajikistan.

Dushanbe: Tajikistan will be looking to cause an upset when they host Saudi Arabia in Group G of the Preliminary Joint Qualification – Round 2 for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ on Tuesday.

The Central Asian side are second in the standings with four points, ahead of Jordan on goal difference following their 1-0 defeat to Saudi Arabia on Matchday Three.

Riyadh: Roberto Mancini thanked the fans after Saudi Arabia edged Tajikistan 1-0 in their Preliminary Joint Qualification – Round 2 for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Group G tie on Thursday.

Salem Al Dawsari's first half strike settled proceedings at the Al Awwal Park as Saudi Arabia made it three wins out of three to move five points clear of Tajikistan and Jordan.

Islamabad: Jordan earned their first win in Group G of the Preliminary Joint Qualification – Round 2 for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ after they defeated Pakistan 3-0 on Thursday.

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ runners-up produced a clinical performance, going two up in the first 45 minutes before finishing the job in the second half to reignite their push for a place in the next stage, moving up to four points with the reverse fixture against Pakistan to come on Tuesday.

Jordan edge Nepal in shootout to retain title

Jeddah: Jordan emerged champions of the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship 2024 with a 5-3 penalty shootout win over Nepal after the final ended 2-2 on Thursday.

It was Jordan's fourth consecutive title and sixth overall but they had to work hard to see off the challenge of a spirited Nepal side.

Jeddah: Jordan will take on Nepal in the final of the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship 2024 after they won their semi-final ties in contrasting fashion on Tuesday.

Defending champions Jordan cruised 5-0 past Palestine while Nepal scored in the fourth minute of second half added time to edge Lebanon 2-1.

Jeddah: Jordan will head into the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship 2024 semi-finals as the firm favourites after ending their Group A campaign with a 2-0 win over Lebanon on Friday.

Jeddah: Jordan and Lebanon confirmed their West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship 2024 semi-final spots with a match to spare on Wednesday.

Defending champions Jordan defeated Guam 3-0 while Lebanon edged hosts Saudi Arabia 3-2 with the two sides to meet on Friday to determine the Group A winners.
