Tabriz: Tractor FC may have secured progression into the next stage of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ with two matches to spare but head coach Dragan Skocic is demanding that his side continue to aim for the stars

Monday’s 2-1 win against Qatar’s Al Duhail SC - which took the Islamic Republic of Iran side to 14 points - was achieved the hard way as a second half revival saw Shojae Khalilzadeh equalising with Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh then netting a stoppage time winner.

Al Rayyan: Seydou Sano’s late strike kept Al Gharafa SC on track for the AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ Round of 16 after the Qatari side defeated Al Wahda FC 1-0 on Monday.

The last gasp win moved Al Gharafa to six points with two matches remaining while UAE’s Al Wahda, who suffered their first defeat of the season, remained on 13.

Tabriz: Tractor FC booked their spot in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ after fighting back to defeat Al Duhail SC 2-1 on Monday.

The win means that with 14 points, Dragan Skocic’s side are guaranteed a top eight finish while Djamel Belmadi’s Al Duhail still have much to do if they are to advance.

Al Khor: Qatar ended their FIFA Arab Cup 2025 campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Tunisia in a Group A tie at the Al Bayt Stadium on Sunday.

The result left Julen Lopetegui’s side bottom of the standings with only a point to show. Tunisia, the 2021 runners-up, also missed out on advancing with Palestine and Syria taking the group’s two quarter-final spots.
