Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Professional Football Seminar 2026 concluded on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after three days of engaging discussions and knowledge sharing aimed at strengthening professional football across the Continent.

Building on an opening day that explored the AFC's club competitions’ overview and the Confederation's Club Licensing System, the remainder of the Seminar provided participants with further opportunities to hear from experts on the evolving ecosystem of the professional game.

Kuala Lumpur: Following the earlier postponements on March 1 and 3, 2026, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirms that all remaining knockout matches of the AFC’s club competitions in the West Region will now be decided in single-leg ties at centralised venues.

Consequently, the AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26™ Round of 16 West Region battles will take place on April 13 and 14 at the King Abdullah Sports City and the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, just prior to the AFC Champions League Elite Finals Jeddah 2026™, which is scheduled to be held from April 16 to 25.
