Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today announced an illustrious list of speakers for its marquee AFC Member Associations (MAs) & Regional Associations (RAs) Presidents’ and General Secretaries’ Conference 2024, to be held from October 30 to November 1 in Seoul, Korea Republic.

Building on the success of the previous edition last year, which brought together AFC MAs and RAs’ Presidents and General Secretaries for the first time, the 2024 edition marks yet another significant milestone in strengthening the collaborative efforts between the Confederation and its members.

New AFC Certificate in Strategy and Planning to boost capabilities of Asian football leaders

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today expanded its range of educational initiatives with the launch of the AFC Certificate in Strategy and Planning (ACSP), its latest offering from the landmark Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE).

A three-month curriculum designed for leaders of the AFC’s Member Associations (MAs), Regional Associations (RAs) and other football stakeholders, the ACSP aims to equip everyone with the necessary strategic planning skills, processes and tools to meet the growing standards, expectations and needs of their respective organisations and the ever-evolving football ecosystem.

AFC Certificate in Football Leadership welcomes second batch of future decision-makers

Kuala Lumpur: Following the overwhelming response to the inaugural edition, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today launched the 2nd AFC Certificate in Football Leadership (ACFL) programme to enhance the ever-growing pool and capabilities of future Asian football decision-makers.

As part of the Confederation’s landmark AFC Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE)’s expanding repertoire of online programmes, the six-month-long initiative will see 36 decision-makers from AFC Member Associations (MAs), Regional Associations (RAs) and other football stakeholders follow in the footsteps of the graduates of the first edition, to further elevate the standards of football leadership on the Continent

8th AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme gets underway

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) welcomed the latest batch of the AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme (KSP) today in the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur.

The two candidates, representing the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), will be assigned to the Confederation’s Referees Department where they will undergo a comprehensive learning experience from October 2 to 19, 2024.

Second edition of ACFL set to continue transforming Asian football ecosystem

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s continuous efforts to expand its educational programmes reached a significant milestone with the launch of the second edition of the acclaimed AFC Certificate in Football Leadership (ACFL) on Wednesday. 

The inaugural edition of the programme, which concluded in December 2023, witnessed 19 decision-makers from AFC Member Associations (MAs), Regional Associations (RAs), and AFC ACE graduates gaining fresh insights that will aid them in enhancing their leadership skills as flagbearers of Asian football.
