Bandar Seri Begawan: Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Crown FC cruised to a 6-0 win over Brunei Darussalam’s Kasuka FC in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage on Tuesday.

Victory meant Phnom Penh reached the Group Stage for the fourth time.

Thimphu: Paro FC captain Evans Asante scored in the dying seconds to give his side a 1-0 win over Abu Muslim Farah FC in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage tie at the Changlimithang Stadium on Tuesday.

The win saw the home side make the Group Stage for the second successive time.

Taipei: Tainan City FC booked their spot in the AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group Stage with a 4-1 win against Khangarid FC in their Preliminary Stage tie on Tuesday.

The Chinese Taipei side made good on home advantage at Taipei Municipal Stadium to best the Mongolian outfit to secure their second straight season on the continental stage.

Dhaka: A second half surge from FC Muras United secured the Kyrgyz Republic side a 2-0 win over Bangladesh’s Abahani Limited Dhaka in their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage match on Tuesday.

Atai Dzhumashev struck both goals as Muras booked their spot in the Group Stage.

Yangon: Ezra FC of Laos had to go all the way to defeat Myanmar’s Yangon United 5-3 on penalties after their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage tie ended 1-1 after extra time on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Kop Lokphathip emerged the hero, saving David Htan’s penalty to send Ezra through to the group stage.

Chengdu: Chengdu Rongcheng secured their place in the League Stage of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Tuesday with Seo Jung-won’s hosts scoring twice in three second half minutes on their way to a 3-0 win over Bangkok United in their preliminary stage showdown.

Yang Mingyang and Felipe netted in the 68th and 71st minutes respectively to break the Thai League 1 side’s resistance before the Brazilian forward added a late third to take the Chinese Super League side into the group phase for the first time in the club’s history.

Chengdu head coach Seo, who won the Asian Club Championship twice as a player with Suwon Samsung Bluewings, will join the 11 other clubs in the draw for the league phase of the competition in the eastern half of the draw, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
