#ACLElite - Asani tops best goal of MD5 (East) poll

Kuala Lumpur: Jasir Asani's goal against Shanghai Shenhua has been picked as the best goal of Matchday Five of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25 (East).

Asani, who leads the scorers' chart with seven goals, netted in the 58th minute as Korea Republic's Gwangju FC edged China PR's Shenhua 1-0.

Albania's Asani, who amassed almost 45 percent of the votes, advances to the semi-finals with voting now open for the best goal of Matchday Six (West) here.

Kuala Lumpur: Mohanad Ali's strike for Al Shorta in their AFC Champions League Elite 2024/25 tie has been voted as the best goal of Matchday Six (West).

Ali's audacious lob earned him 46 percent of the votes and takes him into the semi-finals, with voting now open for the best goal of Matchday Six (East).

Kuala Lumpur: Ivan Toney's strike for Al Ahli Saudi FC against Al Ain has been voted as the best goal of Matchday Five of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25 (West).

Toney, who struck the first of his two goals in the 70th minute as Al Ahli took a 2-1 win, garnered almost 90 percent of the votes.

As the English centre-forward advances to the semi-finals, don't forget to cast your vote for the best goal of the East Zone's Matchday Five, with polling to begin on Saturday.
