Doha: Al Duhail secured their first win after defeating Shabab Al Ahli 4-1 in their AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 tie at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Monday.

It was a stunning victory as UAE’s Shabab Al Ahli had come into the tie very much in form, having accumulated seven points from their earlier matches while Al Duhail had only managed a draw from their preceding games.

Tabriz: Tractor FC secured a second successive win in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 after registering an edgy 1-0 victory against Al Shorta at the Yadegar-e-Imam Stadium on Monday.

Building on their 5-0 success against United Arab Emirates’ Sharjah FC on Matchday Three, Islamic Republic of Iran’s Tractor moved onto eight points with Al Shorta of Iraq only having a draw to show from their four matches.

Qarshi: Caio Canedo’s 89th minute header earned Al Wahda a 2-1 come-from-behind win over PFC Nasaf in Qarshi’s Markaziy Stadium on Monday as Jose Morais’ team took another step towards the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26.

The United Arab Emirates international came off the bench to score the winner after Favour Ogbu had nodded in a 53rd minute equaliser for the visitors, cancelling out Sardarbek Bakhromov's 43rd minute opener.

Al Wahda moved onto 10 points while Nasaf suffered a fourth consecutive defeat.

Doha: Japan kicked off their FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 Group B campaign with a 2-0 win against Morocco on Monday.

After a tight first half, Taiha Seguchi opened the scoring in the 57th minute with Hirashima Daigo's stoppage time strike confirming the points as Japan gave their knockout stage hopes an early boost.

Doha: United Arab Emirates were held to a 1-1 stalemate by 10-man Costa Rica in their FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 Group C opener on Monday.

Mayed Adel had given the Emiratis the lead in the 59th minute but Nick Bennete struck three minutes later for Costa Rica, who had been reduced to 10 players in the first half.
