Group G: Lion City Sailors FC (SGP) 4-2 Selangor FC (MAS)

Singapore: Anderson Lopes starred with four goals as Lion City Sailors FC defeated Selangor FC 4-2 in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Group G tie on Wednesday.

Despite inclement weather which forced the match to be suspended for more than an hour, Lopes remained hot as Singapore’s Sailors secured their first win, having opened their campaign with a 1-1 stalemate with Indonesia’s Persib Bandung.

It was Selangor’s second defeat, having been beaten 4-2 by Thailand’s Bangkok United two weeks ago.

Pathum Thani: Indonesia’s Persib Bandung stunned Bangkok United of Thailand 2-0 in their AFC Champions League™ Two 2025/26 Group G tie at the Pathum Thani Stadium on Wednesday.

Goals from Andrew Jung and Uilliam secured the win for Bojan Hodak’s side, having drawn 1-1 with Lion City Sailors of Singapore in their opener.

Shanghai: Ulsan HD missed out on a second straight win in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Wednesday as Gustav Ludwigson scored in the second half to earn Shin Tae-yong’s side a 1-1 draw with hosts Shanghai Shenhua.

Luis Asue had put the home side in front three minutes into the second half before Ludwigson levelled in the 62nd minute to move Ulsan onto four points from their first two games in the competition.

 

The point earned was Shenhua’s first in the competition after suffering a 2-1 loss to Gangwon FC on Matchday 1 and lifted the Chinese Super League side off the bottom of the standings.

The 24-year-old defender struck in the 38th minute to put his side in control with Jeong Seung-won adding the second in first-half added time. Lucas Silva's 67th minute effort then confirmed Seoul their first win, with the Korea Republic side having played to a 1-1 draw with FC Machida Zelvia in their opener.
