Worrawoot proud of Ratchaburi’s spirit; Gamba’s focus delights Poyatos

Ratchaburi: Worrawoot Srimaka was pleased to see Ratchaburi FC produce a performance that underlined their indomitable spirit after late goals secured the Thai side a 2-0 win against Nam Dinh FC in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Group F tie on Thursday.

Sidcley and Ikhsan Fandi nabbed stoppage time goals to put Ratchaburi three points ahead of their Vietnamese rivals with Worrawoot’s side only needing to avoid defeat in their final fixture against Japan’s Gamba Osaka to go through to the Round of 16.

Sydney: Luke Vickery was thrilled to have stolen the spotlight at Campbelltown Stadium, scoring a brace to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory over Tai Po FC to ensure Macarthur FC’s progression to the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Knockout Stages on Thursday.

The 20-year-old came off the bench, levelled the score in the 50th minute and netted again 20 minutes later from inside the box to seal Macarthur’s come-from-behind-win.

Ratchaburi: Stoppage time goals from Sidcley and Ikhsan Fandi earned hosts Ratchaburi a last-gasp 2-0 win over Nam Dinh in Group F of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 that keeps their side’s hopes of a place in the knockout rounds alive.

Sidcley netted from close range to put Worrawoot Srimaka’s side ahead in the second minute of additional time and Ikshan doubled the advantage three minutes later to claim a win that moves Ratchaburi up to second in the standings, three points clear of Nam Dinh with one round remaining.

Ratchaburi will face already-qualified Gamba Osaka from Japan on December 11 needing to avoid defeat to progress while Nam Dinh will meet Hong Kong Premier League side Eastern needing a win to have any chance of qualifying.

Hong Kong: Japan’s Gamba Osaka continued their perfect run in the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26, outclassing Eastern FC 5-0 in an action-packed Group F encounter at the Mong Kok Stadium on Thursday.

The Japanese side, who had already booked their Round of 16 spot, took a three-goal lead in the first half and completely dominated their opponents to top the group with maximum points. It was the fifth consecutive defeat for the team from Hong Kong, China.

The result puts Cong An Ha Noi on eight points, three ahead of Beijing FC with Macarthur FC of Australia on 10.
