Abdysh-Ata turn on the power against Taichung Futuro

Bishkek: Kyrgyz Republic’s FK Abdysh-Ata Kant will take a commanding 5-0 lead into the second leg of their AFC Cup™ 2023/24 Inter-Zone semi-final against Chinese Taipei’s Taichung Futuro next week after a dominant display in Bishkek on Wednesday.

First half goals from Kayrat Zhyrgalbek and Ernist Batyrkanov put the home side in control at the interval and three goals in five minutes late in the game mean Islam Akhmedov’s side will be confident of progressing to the next round despite 90 minutes remaining in the tie.
 
Magamed Uzdenov netted the third in the 85th minute before Mirbek Akhmataliev added the fourth two minutes later and, with a minute remaining, Teymur Caryyew slipped the fifth under goalkeeper Kenya Matsui to seal a comprehensive victory.
