Nilphamari: Bangladesh's Bashundhara Kings have bolstered their squad with the addition of Brazilian midfielder Robson Azevedo da Silva ahead of their 2020 AFC Cup campaign.
More commonly known as Robinho, the 25-year-old joins the Bangladesh Premier League champions on a one-year loan deal from Fluminense.
This marks Robinho's first move outside of Brazil, coming in as a replacement for Daniel Colindres, who returned to Costa Rica to play for Saprissa.

Kuala Lumpur: The Bahrain Football Association, Kuwait Football Association and Jordan Football Association have been confirmed as the host Member Associations for the 2020 AFC Cup West Zone matches in Groups A, B and C respectively.
The AFC Cup action in the West Zone will kick off on October 23, 2020 with Group C leaders Qadsia SC from Kuwait taking on Oman’s Dhofar Club. Meanwhile, teams from Groups A and B will restart their campaigns three days later on October 26 with matches from all three groups scheduled to conclude on November 4, 2020.
The single-leg West Zonal Semi-finals will take place on November 23 and 24 before the final two teams compete in the West Zonal final on December 1, 2020 for a place in the AFC Cup final against the winners of the Inter-zone play-off on December 12, 2020.

Riyadh: Birthday boy Bafetimbi Gomis scored twice as Al Hilal SFC defeated Al Nassr 4-1 to open a nine-point gap at the top of the Saudi Pro League on Wednesday.
Gomis, the 2019 AFC Champions League MVP and Top Scorer, was on fire as Al Hilal continued from where they had left off when the season was halted in March by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
Defending league champions Al Nassr went into the tie knowing a win would bring them within three points of the leaders but after an even first half which ended 1-1, Al Nassr couldn't cope with Al Hilal's firepower.

Tashkent: Uzbekistan national team head coach Vadim Abramov has urged fans to be patient with Jasur Jaloliddinov, following the 18-year-old wonderkid’s move to Lokomotiv Moscow last week.
Speaking during the ongoing national team training camp in Tashkent, the richly experienced boss – who has also overseen the midfielder’s rise at club side FC Bunyodkor – said Jaloliddinov has the potential to reach the highest level, but he must be given time to adapt.
“Of course (he has the potential). Everything will depend on him now,” Abramov, who led Uzbekistan to the 2011 AFC Asian Cup semi-finals, told the-AFC.com.
