Wuhan: Head coach Chang Weiwei didn’t hide his admiration for his Wuhan Jiangda players after their 2-0 triumph over East Bengal FC in their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Group B tie on Thursday.

A brace from Wang Shuang in the first half settled the tie for the Chinese Women's Super League side, who bounced back from their 1-1 stalemate against Uzbekistan’s PFC Nasaf on opening day.

Vientiane: Kim Sang-sik was impressed with the performance of Vietnam after they came through a stern Laos test to win their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group F tie 2-0 on Wednesday.
