Wuhan: In his inaugural season at the helm, Michael Matricciani has guided Melbourne City FC to the final of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2024/25, with the Australian side set to face China PR’s Wuhan Jiangda Women’s FC at the Wuhan Sports Centre Stadium on Saturday.

Matricciani returned to the A-League Women as head coach of Melbourne City ahead of the current campaign, having previously served as senior assistant coach at Adelaide United.
