PS - Group A: Strykers FC (GUM) 2-5 Khovd Western FC (MNG)

Yangon: Esther Sunday scored twice as Mongolia’s Khovd Western FC completed their Group A commitments in the AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary stage on Sunday with a 5-2 win over Strykers FC of Guam in Yangon.

A rapid-fire double from the Nigerian in the 20th and 21st minute pushed the Mongolian side towards the win and a third place finish in the standings after Kim Hyun-jeong had put her side ahead after five minutes.

 

Ulzisbayar Badamkhatan and Jeong Eun-uk were also on target to ensure Orgilsaikhan Bayarmagnai’s took the points despite late goals from Yae Kawauchi and Aubrey Ibanez for the side from Guam.

Vientiane: RTC FC saved their best for last when they beat Master FC 5-0 in an entertaining Preliminary Stage match that closed Group D of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 on Sunday.

The result at the Lao National Stadium KM16 secured a first win for the Bhutanese side, with the hosts finishing with zero points after losing their two previous matches.

Phnom Penh: India’s East Bengal advanced to the Group Stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Kitchee SC of Hong Kong, China in their final Qualifiers Group E tie on Sunday.

The stalemate moved East Bengal to four points, with Kitchee two behind and out of contention for a group stage spot.

Yangon: ISPE WFC secured their place in the Group Stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 with a 3-1 win over Stallion Laguna FC from the Philippines as second half goals from Sandar Lin, San Thaw Thaw and Kin Marlar Tun sealed top spot in Group A for the Myanmar side.

The win was ISPE’s third in a row and confirms San San Thiein’s side as winners of the group with nine points, three ahead of Stallion Laguna. Only the group winners advance to the next phase, where they will be joined by the runners-up with the best record.

Vientiane: DPR Korea’s Naegohyang Women’s FC strolled into the Group Stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 with a perfect record after a 5-0 win over Kaohsiung Attackers FC in their final Preliminary Stage Group D clash on Sunday.

Scoring a total of 23 goals and conceding none in three matches, Naegohyang capped a brilliant campaign at the Lao National Stadium KM16 by shutting off a Chinese Taipei side that had comfortably won their previous two games.

Melaka: Lion City Sailors FC of Singapore finished top of Group C after breezing 3-0 past Kyrgyz Republic’s Sydushor SI - Asiagoal in their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage tie on Sunday.

First half goals from Ami Takeuchi and Miyu Inayama paved the way for Sailors to complete a hat-trick of wins to close out their campaign.
