PS - Group D: Kaohsiung Attackers FC (TPE) 2-0 RTC FC (BHU)

Vientiane: Kaohsiung Attackers FC outclassed RTC FC of Bhutan 2-0 in their opening AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage Group D tie at the Lao National Stadium KM16 on Monday.

Goals from Uetsuji Yumi and Jesica Alaniz gave the Chinese Taipei team a perfect start to their campaign.

PS - Group C: Etihad Club (JOR) 0-2 Lion City Sailors FC (SGP)

Melaka: Lion City Sailors of Singapore got off to a fine start by defeating Jordan’s Etihad Club 2-0 in their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage Group C tie at the Hang Jebat Stadium on Monday.

First half strikes from Ami Takeuchi gave Sailors the three points, setting them up nicely for their tie against Kelana United FC of Malaysia on Matchday Two. 

 

Etihad will look to bounce back against Kyrgyz Republic’s Sdyushor Si – Asiagoal.

#ChallengeLeague cast set for Group Stage draw

Kuala Lumpur: Battle lines for the AFC Challenge League™ (ACGL) 2025/26 will be marked on August 28 (Thursday) during the Group Stage draw, which starts at 3pm at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The cast was finalised following the conclusion of the Preliminary Stage earlier this month, which saw nine teams progress to join the eight sides that had been granted direct entry to the Group Stage, along with the three eliminated clubs from the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage.
