Winning starts for Vietnam, Philippines in men's football

Hanoi: Vietnam and the Philippines were at their best as they kicked off their SEA Games 2021 Hanoi Group A men's football campaigns with emphatic wins on Friday.

Vietnam, the defending champions, defeated Indonesia 3-0 with the Philippines having opened their campaign earlier on Friday with a 4-0 win over Timor-Leste.
