Tran Gia Bao scored a last-gasp penalty to secure a point for the Southeast Asian side, cancelling out Minato Yoshida’s first half opener for the East Asians.

Taif: United Arab Emirates turned on the power to secure a 2-0 win against Australia in their AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 Group B clash at the King Fahd Sports City Stadium on Monday.

Beaten by Japan in their opener, Monday’s win revived UAE’s knockout stage hopes with Vietnam to come on Thursday for the West Asian side. Australia face a must win clash against group leaders Japan.

Jeddah: Indonesia booked their spot in the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 knockout stage with a 4-1 win against Yemen in a fast-paced Group C tie at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium on Monday.

The triumph, coming on the heels of their 1-0 victory against Korea Republic, means they are also on their way to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.

The win reignited Korea Republic’s campaign and they will book a spot in the knockout stage by avoiding defeat against Yemen in their final group fixture on Thursday. Afghanistan will meet already qualified Indonesia.

Tied at 1-1 at the break, Sufyani said the players were given a fresh set of instructions and tactics which ultimately turned the match in their favour with the Al Nassr U19 forward also getting on the scoresheet to make it 2-1 before Mukhtar Barnawi struck the third minutes later to seal the win.

The win not only sealed Saudi Arabia their knockout stage spot but also a ticket to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
