Group C: Ghana 3-1 Korea Republic

Sosnowiec: Korea Republic put up a battling display before going down 3-1 to Ghana in their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 Group C tie on Wednesday.

Having opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against France, Korea Republic will now need a positive result in their final group match against Ecuador on Saturday to boost their hopes of reaching the Round of 16.

Yangon: Myanmar’s Yangon United FC staved off a late Ezra FC fightback to pick up a 2-1 win in their AFC Challenge League 2026/27™ Preliminary Stage match on Tuesday.

The win sees Yangon joining Indonesia’s Borneo FC Samarinda, One Taguig FC of the Philippines and Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City FC in Group C.
