Kuwait City: Defending champions Islamic Republic of Iran confirmed their place in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 knockout stage after cruising 10-1 past Chinese Taipei in their Group C tie on Friday. 

Twelve-time champions Iran were simply sizzling form as they put the game to bed early after racing to a six-goal lead going into the break at the Saad Al Abdullah Hall.

Kuwait City: Indonesia pulled themselves back into contention for a place in the knockout stage of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 
2022 after a 7-2 win over Lebanon on Friday.

The Southeast Asian side, having lost 5-0 to defending champions Islamic Republic of Iran in their opener, turned on the power against a Lebanon side still in search of their first win after having settled for a 1-1 stalemate against Chinese Taipei.

Kuwait City: Vietnam took a huge step towards the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 knockout stage after defeating Saudi Arabia 3-1 in their Group D tie on Friday. 

The win took Vietnam to six points, and the Southeast Asians are well placed to secure a spot in the quarter-finals while Saudi Arabia have it all to do following the defeat.

Kuwait City: Japan breathed life into their AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 Group D campaign after defeating Korea Republic 6-0 on Friday.

Having suffered a 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in their opening match, Japan made no mistakes as they dominated against a Korea Republic side also needing a win after their 5-1 loss to Vietnam.
