4th AFC Grassroots Panel charts the pathway towards brighter future

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Panel for the 2024–2025 term convened on Monday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reaffirming the Confederation’s unwavering commitment to enhancing grassroots development across Asia.

Taking place on the eve of the 4th AFC Grassroots Football Conference, the programme saw the panel review the year’s progress, exchange ideas, and identify key areas of focus for the near future.

Kuala Lumpur: A total of 42 Member Associations (MAs) joined hands to celebrate the 12th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Football Day, with more than 31,000 participants across the Continent.

The latest edition of the annual celebration was commemorated on May 23, in alignment with FIFA’s World Football Week, enabling the AFC to further contribute to the United Nations’ Football for the Goals initiative and the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

AFC Grassroots Charter endorses IR Iran as latest gold member

Tehran: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has endorsed the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) as the latest Member Association (MA) to achieve Gold Level membership under the AFC Grassroots Charter.

With this milestone, the AFC Grassroots Charter now includes 11 Gold Members, alongside 11 Silver and 22 Bronze MAs.
