Uzbekistan FA to receive three-star AFC Elite Youth Scheme renewal

Kuala Lumpur: The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) is set to extend their status as a three-star member of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Elite Youth Scheme.

The UFA’s robust youth development programmes have resulted in impressive achievements at the age-group level, with the most recent being their triumph at the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025, adding to their maiden Olympic qualification last year.

AFC Youth Online Session 2025 focuses on emotional wellness

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) once again underlined its steadfast commitment towards ensuring the success of Asian teams when it conducted the AFC Youth Online Session 2025 on Thursday.

Kuala Lumpur: The robust systems of excellence implemented by The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) to develop its future stars has been recognised with the renewal of its one-star membership under the AFC Elite Youth Scheme.

Granted one-star membership in April 2020, the AFC youth panel assessors were particularly pleased with the significant progress made by the KFU in strengthening its elite youth football structures in recent times, with the strong sense of partnership with the AFC and FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme highlighted amongst the key areas of success.
