Buriram: Mark Jackson was beaming with pride after his Buriram United defeated Shanghai Port FC 2-0 on Tuesday to revive their AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 hopes.

Goals from Supachai Chaided and Curtis Good took the Thailand side up to six points, with Jackson pleased to see the response of his team as they arrested a run of two straight defeats.

Buriram: Buriram United returned to winning ways in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Tuesday as Mark Jackson’s side handed Chinese Super League champions Shanghai Port a 2-0 defeat at Buriram Stadium to climb up the East Zone standings.

Supachai Chaided gave the Thai League 1 title holders the lead in the 15th minute and Curtis Good made the points safe 20 minutes after the interval as the hosts bounced back from their agonisingly late loss against Melbourne City on Matchday Three.

The result moves Buriram United into fifth place on six points as the league phase reaches the midway point while Shanghai Port’s hopes of claiming a berth in the next phase suffered another blow with Kevin Muscat’s side rooted to the bottom on a solitary point.
