Yangon: Stallion Laguna FC made a winning start to Group A of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage on Monday with a 6-1 victory over Khovd Western FC from Mongolia in Yangon.

Chandler McDaniel scored a hat-trick and was influential throughout for Ernest Nierras’ side as the side from the Philippines cruised to the win at Thuwunna Stadium, joining ISPE WFC at the top of the early group standings with three points from their first match.

San San Thein’s side scored seven times in a dominant display during the opening 45 minutes, with Phyu Phyu Win netting twice at Thuwunna Stadium.
