Phnom Penh: A second half strike from Fazila Ikwaput steered India’s East Bengal to a 1-0 win over Phnom Penh Crown FC of Cambodia in their opening AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage Group E tie on Monday.

Phnom Penh Crown will have to bounce back when they face Kitchee SC on Thursday with East Bengal taking on the Hong Kong outfit on Sunday.

Yangon: Myanmar’s ISPE WFC made a strong start to Group A of the AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage in Yangon on Monday with a comfortable 9-0 victory over Strykers FC from Guam.

San San Thein’s side scored seven times in a dominant display during the opening 45 minutes, with Phyu Phyu Win netting twice at Thuwunna Stadium.

Melaka: Lion City Sailors of Singapore got off to a fine start by defeating Jordan’s Etihad Club 2-0 in their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage Group C tie at the Hang Jebat Stadium on Monday.

First half strikes from Ami Takeuchi gave Sailors the three points, setting them up nicely for their tie against Kelana United FC of Malaysia on Matchday Two.

#ChallengeLeague cast set for Group Stage draw

Kuala Lumpur: Battle lines for the AFC Challenge League™ (ACGL) 2025/26 will be marked on August 28 (Thursday) during the Group Stage draw, which starts at 3pm at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The cast was finalised following the conclusion of the Preliminary Stage earlier this month, which saw nine teams progress to join the eight sides that had been granted direct entry to the Group Stage, along with the three eliminated clubs from the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Preliminary Stage.
