Despite Philippines powerhouse Ceres Negros (now known as United City FC) - ultimately succumbing to Vietnamese giants Hanoi FC in the ASEAN Zonal Semi-finals, the crowd favourite bagged 10 AFC Cup goals in 2019, an impressive haul which saw him finish as the competition’s leading marksman.
UAE's Caneda misses Serbia training stint after testing positive for COVID-19
Dubai: Caio Caneda will miss the United Arab Emirates' training stint in Serbia after testing positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The Al Ain forward, who recently received his UAE citizenship, said on social media that he had been in isolation and was feeling healthy, but had been awaiting a negative test before linking up with the squad.
“Hello, guys! First of all, thank you so much for all the messages and all the love I’ve been receiving on social media all these days. I’ve been isolated 17 days already with Covid-19.
“Just want to let all my fans and friends know that I’m feeling great, feeling healthy, and ready to come back as soon as possible," said Caneda on Instagram.
