Malaysia edge Thailand; Singapore, Laos share points
Hanoi: Malaysia came from behind to defeat Thailand while Singapore salvaged a point at the death in Group B of the Hanoi SEA Games men's football on Saturday.
Malaysia, seeking a first SEA Games gold since the 2011 SEA Games, had super-sub Nur Azfar Fikri to thank for the 2-1 win while defender Jordan Emaviwe was Singapore's hero as they came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw.

Kuala Lumpur: Following the withdrawal of Chinese Taipei as host of the AFC Cup 2022™ Group J matches, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today confirmed that the East Zone centralised ties will now be held in Buriram, Thailand.
Group J will be headlined by MUST CPK of Macau, Hong Kong sides Eastern Long Lions and Lee Man as well as Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City FC and will take place as scheduled from June 24 to 30, 2022.
