Pattaya: Japan booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup™ Thailand 2025 with a decisive 7-2 win over Saudi Arabia in their second Group B match at the Jomtien Beach Arena on Saturday.

Japan will now seek to end the group stage with a perfect record when they face China PR on Monday while Saudi Arabia will have to beat Iraq to advance to the quarter-finals.

Needing to bounce back after losing 5-3 to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the win puts China PR back in contention for a spot in the quarter-finals while it was back-to-back defeats for Iraq.
