Pattaya: Two-time champions United Arab Emirates moved a step closer to booking their place in the quarter-finals of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup™ Thailand 2025 after defeating Indonesia 6-1 in their Group C fixture on Sunday.

UAE, who finished the 2023 edition in third place, confirmed their spot in the quarter-finals after Islamic Republic of Iran defeated Afghanistan 14-0 in the second top with the two meeting on Tuesday to decide the group winners.

Pattaya: Islamic Republic of Iran put in another commanding performance in defeating Afghanistan 14-0 on Sunday to book their spot in the quarter-finals of AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup™ Thailand 2025.

This their second straight win at Thailand 2025 meant that they - together with United Arab Emirates - are in an unassailable position in the group with the two to meet on Tuesday to decide the Group C winners.
