Pattaya: Oman stayed perfect to seal their quarter-final spot after defeating Malaysia 6-3 in their AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup™ Thailand 2025 Group D tie on Sunday.

With six points from two matches, Oman are assured of a top two finish ahead of their meeting with Bahrain on Tuesday while Malaysia will face Vietnam.

Pattaya: Vietnam revived their knockout stage hopes when they defeated Bahrain 4-2 in their second Group D fixture in the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup™ Thailand 2025 at the Jomtien Beach Arena on Sunday. 

Bahrain will look to keep their quarter-final hopes alive when they face 2015 champions Oman while Vietnam will cross swords against Malaysia.

This their second straight win at Thailand 2025 meant that they - together with United Arab Emirates - are in an unassailable position in the group with the two to meet on Tuesday to decide the Group C winners.

UAE, who finished the 2023 edition in third place, confirmed their spot in the quarter-finals after Islamic Republic of Iran defeated Afghanistan 14-0 in the second top with the two meeting on Tuesday to decide the group winners.
