Roland’s tactics pay off for Vietnam

Taif: Cristiano Roland heaped praise on his players after Vietnam rescued a point for the second match running at the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025 following a 1-1 draw with Japan on Monday.

Roland’s charges had to fight tooth and nail to salvage the point in a match that saw Japan - who took the lead through Minato Yoshida in the 13th minute - comfortably in control as the Vietnamese tactician had expected from the four-time champions.
