Qualifiers - Group B: Singapore 0-1 Kyrgyz Republic; Hong Kong, China 0-6 Vietnam

Hanoi: Vietnam lead the way in Group B of the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 Qualifiers after cruising to a 6-0 win against Hong Kong, China on Friday.

The win sees them holding a three-point advantage over Hong Kong, China and Kyrgyz Republic, who kept their hopes alive with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Singapore.

Kuala Lumpur: Four former champions led the way as the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 Qualifiers got off to an emphatic start on Wednesday.

Six-time winners Japan kicked off their Group F campaign with a 5-0 win over Guam while defending champions DPR Korea were unstoppable in a 15-0 triumph against Saudi Arabia in Group A.
 
Korea Republic, champions in 2003 and 2013, defeated Timor-Leste 9-0 while China PR, who lifted the trophy in 2006, opened their Group E challenge with a 6-0 win against Syria.
 
The teams will be back in action on Friday with the eight group winners and the overall three best runners-up to join hosts Thailand at next year's Finals.

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Champions League Elite™ (ACL Elite) and AFC Champions League Two™ (ACL Two) will mark their return to action with the Preliminary Stage for the 2025/26 season, which gets underway on August 12 (Tuesday).

Four teams will vie for the two available League Stage berths in the ACL Elite while six contenders will do likewise for three Group Stage berths in the ACL Two, as confirmed by the finalised slot allocations in June.
