Qualifiers - Group E: Syria 1-2 Lebanon; Cambodia 0-7 China PR

Yinchuan: China PR and Lebanon set up a final day showdown in Group E of the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 Qualifiers after picking up their second wins on Friday

China PR were at their best in beating Cambodia 7-0 while Lebanon edged Syria 2-1.

Kuala Lumpur: Four former champions led the way as the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 Qualifiers got off to an emphatic start on Wednesday.

Six-time winners Japan kicked off their Group F campaign with a 5-0 win over Guam while defending champions DPR Korea were unstoppable in a 15-0 triumph against Saudi Arabia in Group A.
 
Korea Republic, champions in 2003 and 2013, defeated Timor-Leste 9-0 while China PR, who lifted the trophy in 2006, opened their Group E challenge with a 6-0 win against Syria.
 
The teams will be back in action on Friday with the eight group winners and the overall three best runners-up to join hosts Thailand at next year's Finals.

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Champions League Elite™ (ACL Elite) and AFC Champions League Two™ (ACL Two) will mark their return to action with the Preliminary Stage for the 2025/26 season, which gets underway on August 12 (Tuesday).

Berlin: Japan international Ritsu Doan has completed his move to Eintracht Frankfurt from fellow Bundesliga outfit Freiburg, the German club announced on Thursday.
