Qualifiers - Group G: Oman 1-0 Pakistan; Iraq 0-0 Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Iraq qualified for the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 despite being held to a goalless draw by Cambodia in their Qualifiers Group G tie on Tuesday.

The draw saw Iraq finish top of the group on seven points to ensure a seventh Finals appearance.

In the other match, Oman concluded their campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Pakistan.

Kuala Lumpur: The cast for the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 was finalised following the conclusion of the Qualifiers on Tuesday.

The 11 group winners and four best runners-up overall join hosts Saudi Arabia at the Finals, which will be played on January 7 to 25, 2026.

Qualifiers - Group J: Laos 3-1 Macau; Korea Republic 1-0 Indonesia

Sidoarjo: Korea Republic qualified for the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 after defeating Indonesia 1-0 in an entertaining, fast-paced match at the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium on Tuesday.

A sixth minute goal from Hwang Do-yun was enough to give the 2020 champions maximum points in Group J from three matches, with Indonesia second on four points.

Laos, meanwhile, overpowered Macau 3-1 in their final Group J clash to close their campaign with one win from three matches.

Xi’an: Australia secured their place at the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 on Tuesday as Tony Vidmar’s side claimed a 0-0 draw with China PR at a raucous Xian International Football Center to take top spot in Group D.

The result sees the Olyroos finish in pole position on seven points after earlier wins over Northern Mariana Islands and Timor-Leste while the Chinese finish in second, also on seven points but behind Australia on goal difference.

China PR could still qualify for the finals, which will be played in Saudi Arabia in January, as one of the four runners-up with the best records across the 11 qualifying groups.
