Wessam Abou Ali canceled out Yazan Al Naimat’s opener only for the latter to restore Jordan’s lead after the restart before Noor Al Rawabdeh struck the third to seal the win.

Muscat: Son Heung-min sent Korea Republic on their way to a first win in the AFC Asian Qualifiers™ - Road to 26 on Tuesday as the Tottenham Hotspur forward netted his side’s crucial second in a 3-1 victory over Oman in Muscat’s Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

Hwang Hee-chan had given the Koreans the lead in the 10th minute but an own goal by Jung Seung-hyun in first half injury time levelled the scores before Son hit his side’s second eight minutes from time and Joo Min-kyu put the result of the Group B clash beyond doubt.

The result moves the Koreans onto four points from their opening two games while the Omanis are stranded at the bottom of the standings without a point having also lost their first match 1-0 against Iraq on Tuesday.
