Bandar Seri Begawan: Mongolia must be prepared to work even harder if they want to continue making history after advancing to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Joint Qualification on Tuesday.
The East Asians saw off a strong challenge from Brunei, who had drawn level 2-2 on aggregate by the end of the first half at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
Mongolian captain Norjmoo Tsedenbal, however, had the final say as he struck a penalty two minutes into the second half to ensure his team advanced to the second round for the first time in their history.

Bandar Seri Begawan: There was no joy for Brunei Darussalam despite beating Mongolia 2-1, with the Southeast Asians being edged 3-2 on aggregate in their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification tie on Tuesday.
Mongolia made history as they progressed to the next round of the Asian Qualifiers for the first time and it is a a well deserved achievement.

Dhaka: Bangladesh's determination held off Laos as the South Asians advanced to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Joint Qualification on Tuesday.
Although Bangladesh were held 0-0 at home in the return leg, the 1-0 win recorded in last week's first leg in Vientiane was enough to take Jamie Day's side through to the second round of the Asian Qualifiers.

Dededo: Hat-trick hero Jason Cunliffe says its back to the drawing board for Guam after they sealed their place in the next round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Joint Qualification in emphatic fashion on Tuesday.
Guam defeated Bhutan 5-0 to advance 5-1 on aggregate with skipper Cunliffe scoring in the 26th, 81st and added time. Guam's other scorers were Isiah Kazunori Kimura Lagutang (23rd) and Shane Malcolm (51st) as Guam comfortably overcame the one-goal deficit at the Guam FA Field.

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia head coach Tan Cheng Hoe stressed there is still work to be done after his team defeated Timor-Leste 5-1 in the second leg in their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification, advancing 12-2 on aggregate.
The former Kedah head coach made four changes to his line-up from their 7-1 victory in the first leg last week, bringing in Muhd Syazwan Andik, Shahrel Fikri, Akhyar and goalkeeper Mohd Ifwat Kamal.
The changes did little to dent Malaysia’s attacking prowess as the Harimau Malaya put three goals past the Timorese in the first half and added two more after the break.

Doha: Cambodia head coach Felix Dalmas is more concerned about the continued development of his team rather than immediate results after the Southeast Asians safely negotiated their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification tie against Pakistan on Tuesday.
Cambodia staged a come from behind win as they defeated Pakistan 2-1 in the second leg in Doha to advance 4-1 on aggregate.
Dalmas, while pleased that Cambodia will now take their place in the draw for the next round of the Asian Qualifiers, said they will be practical in their approach.
